Who we are
The AI Standard is a consulting studio that works with non-technical entrepreneurs, founders, and operators to design and build prototypes and MVPs using existing tools in the market. We’re founder-operated and reachable at ramon@aistandard.app.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the website at aistandard.app, our newsletter, our intake form, and any other free interactions you have with us before a written services agreement is in place. By using the site you agree to them.
Education first, build second
Most of what we publish — the site, the newsletter, calls, conversations, and answers to your questions — is educational. Reading it, replying to it, or booking an intro call does not create a contract for services and does not entitle you to a build.
A build engagement only begins when both parties sign a written services agreement that names the scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, and payment terms. Until that agreement is signed, nothing on this site, in your inbox, or in conversation is a binding commitment to deliver software.
What a build engagement includes
Once an agreement is signed, we provide consulting and MVP-build services using existing third-party tools and frameworks (typically Next.js, React Native, Supabase, Expo, Stripe, Vercel, and similar). The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline are defined in the signed agreement, not on this page.
You own what we build for you
We do not own the code or product we build under a signed engagement. Source code, design files, and account ownership are transferred to you at handoff. We retain the right to describe the work at a high level for portfolio and case-study purposes unless you ask us in writing not to.
Third-party tools and accounts
The products we build run on third-party platforms. You are responsible for any accounts, subscriptions, usage fees, taxes, and terms of service associated with those platforms (for example: hosting, database, payments, email, and AI providers). We’ll recommend reasonable defaults; you own the relationships.
Fees
Fees, milestones, and payment schedules are defined in the signed agreement. We do not charge for educational content, intro calls, or use of this website.
No guarantees of outcomes
We don’t guarantee revenue, fundraising, downloads, users, or any specific business outcome. We commit to the deliverables named in the signed agreement and to the standard of care reasonable for a professional consulting studio.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, The AI Standard is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site or services. For paid engagements, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us under the relevant signed agreement.
Confidentiality
Anything you share with us in connection with a potential or active engagement — ideas, decks, financials, customer data — is treated as confidential and used only to evaluate or perform the work. We don’t share it with anyone outside the studio without your written consent.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the site, the newsletter, or any tool we build for unlawful activity, to harass others, to violate the rights of third parties, or to attempt to access systems or data you don’t have permission to access.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
